Share your views and you could win a bottle of bubbly…

This time last year, we undertook our first large survey. It helped us to understand what members and the wider internal communications community wants and needs from us. It set the scene, and gave us the direction to create our strategy. You can see the strategy here.

This year we thought we should develop our approach to surveys in line with our industry and best practice, so instead of a large annual survey, we are moving to smaller, more frequent pulse surveys. They will be just twice a year. Taken alongside our post event feedback and surveys, this should provide us with the information we need to make sure we’re doing what you need us to do and give us an insight into how we are doing.

So we need you to take part. It’s short and sweet and really should only take a couple of minutes to answer.

And you could win a bottle of bubbly, so what are you waiting for?

Last year, at a very top level, you told us you want opportunities to share best practice, network online and offline, meet other professionals, and learn more.

So we’re continuing to work on delivering these things for members and add value. There’s an #asktheguru event in Manchester tonight ( 25 June 2015) and we held a webinar in April, with two more in the pipeline. Our annual internal communication conference date has been set for 13 October, and more details will be announced on that very soon as we prepare the event ready to share with you. And of course, our awards will open in the autumn for their fourth year supporting the growing appetite to share best practice, get great work recognised and teams rewarded.

We also have a growing Yammer community – if you’re not a part of it yet, click here and we can add you so you can connect, ask for help and advice and share ideas with others working in internal communication.

The survey closes at midnight on Friday 17 July, and we’ll pull a name at random from the respondents on Monday 20 July at our committee meeting.

Thank you for taking the time to help us to help you.
