It’s nearly party time

Now that all the finalists have been told the exciting news, we’re adding the finishing touches to the party for the #insidestory awards 2014.

We’ve had a few people ask whether they need to book tables, if it’s a black tie evening and what to wear.

We’ve gone with a more informal style evening where you can chat and network with your colleagues and meet new people too. It won’t be like the traditional awards dinner or evening.

Wear something you feel great in. Last year most guests dressed up for an evening out on the town. So your outfit doesn’t have to be a cocktail dress, ball gown or black tie. We’ve said the dress code is smart casual, and we know that’s open to your interpretation. (We also know a party is a great excuse to buy something new — so don’t let our dress code stop you…)

Instead of a sit down dinner we’re planning a different style of awards evening with a standing reception, drinks and canapés served on arrival and then bowl food towards the end of the ceremony to keep you all energised. So, there is no need to book a table, just your individual tickets. There are only a few spaces left so if you’ve been waiting to buy your tickets, make sure you get them booked this week. Sales are likely to be closed by the end of the week.

The Gherkin is an iconic building with panoramic views across the city, so it’s a gorgeous setting and you’ll receive great service from the Searcys team.

The Searcys staff will be on hand providing you with delicious canapés and drinks as you also enjoy a great evening with friends and colleagues, and find out who the winners are – now that’s the fun bit…
