Exploring Internal Communication

On 15 July, CIPR Inside and PR Academy are co-hosting the book launch of ‘Exploring Internal Communication’, edited by Kevin Ruck.

Described in the Preface as “a companion for CIPR qualifications in internal communication and a general introduction to the fast developing fields of internal communication and employee engagement”, it suggests this book club event will have more of an academic feel than those previous.

Attendees will hear from six of the seven authors on some of the key concepts in the book, including a new approach to internal communication, how this is linked to employee engagement and the thinking behind a converged model of social media. There will then be the chance to quiz them in a panel discussion.

The event will take place in the wonderful Glaziers Hall near London Bridge, with post event networking drinks and nibbles overlooking the Thames.

Not only is the event FREE, but the first ten people to sign-up will receive a free copy of the book.

Hope to see you there!

  1. An interesting event last night Sean, very well organised and charmingly chaired.

Congratulations to Kevin and his team of authors for producing what feels very much like an accessible and dippable” Internal Comms 101 which will doubtless prove a “very effective companion to the CIPR training courses.

    Onward and upward for IC!
