We’ll be sharing a list of judges later this week – be assured there’s a fantastic group of industry professionals who are going to assess your entries. When it comes to internal communication these individuals really do know their stuff, so getting an accolade from them is a huge achievement.

Imagine how good you would feel to be on the shortlist…

Imagine how you’ll feel if you win…

Entering awards is one of the things we often put off because we’re too busy, or worse we take our own good work for granted and just start on the next project.

But it really doesn’t take too long to submit your work for an #insidestory award and with the new system you won’t have the temptation to go off topic. Once you start and you have all the information you need already, the process is simple. What you did, why you did it and what happened as a result of what you did are key to your projects and work, and this is just what is needed for your award entries.

Check out all the criteria details here.

You really do deserve to get your good work rewarded, show your clients or your leaders that the work you do is brilliant. And who would not want to have one of these lovely plaques on their desk?

Check out the full criteria list here. Use this to guide the content you need to gather for your award entry.

When you prepare your entry you just need to make sure that you answer these criteria. The new system makes it even easier for you to do that because you’ll answer a field for each criteria for the category you enter.

Best public sector or charity campaign

Don’t forget to enter your content for the Best public sector or charity campaign category as well if you meet the criteria. If you are from a charity or public sector organisation, you can enter this category for free with another paid entry, or just enter and pay for this entry if you don’t want to enter another category.

What about the bright stars?

If there’s a member of your team or someone you admire working in internal communication, nominate them for either the Clare Latham award or the Future Leader award.

What’s the difference?

The Clare Latham award recognises those who have made a brilliant contribution to internal communication in their career. CIPR Inside created this award to recognise individuals and the team at scarlettabbott wanted a way to remember and recognise the work of their colleague Clare who had passed away. So, the award is now known as the Clare Latham award. It’s an honour to be nominated for this award. You can read a little from two of the past winners here.

The Future Leader award was a new category introduced for 2016 awards. As a committee of internal communicators we know there is a growing community of talented people starting to work in internal communication. We wanted to reward those who are showing excellence in their work and who are on the cusp of their next big step in their careers. The people nominated for this award should be those who you believe have the potential to make a real impact as they continue in their careers.

Last year, Lisa Pantelli won the Future Leader award and John Townsend won the Clare Latham award. Both have joined us on the committee in 2016, and will pass on the special awards they received to the 2017 winners.
