We aim to shortlist five entries in each category, one will go on to win, and two will be highly commended.

In some categories, where there are just three or four entries we’ve shortlisted them all if they scored at least 60 out of the possible 100.

This year, we received 50% more entries than the previous year. We added some new categories like Best digital magazine or newsletter and Best print magazine or newsletter and removed a couple that were less popular last year like Best use of measurement. We adapt the awards categories and criteria based upon feedback from entrants and judges to make sure the awards reflect what our industry wants and needs. The Best public sector or charity campaign only received one entry this year, so we have closed that category and refunded any fees paid.

Winners and highly commended entries will be announced at the #insidestory awards party, an informal awards reception with lots of networking, some entertainment, canapés and bowl food, and drinks.

So make sure you join us on Thursday 26 February, 19.00 – 23.00 at The Weston Roof Pavilion, Royal Festival Hall, Southbank.
