And the winner is!

We’re delighted to announce the latest winner of the CIPR Inside Story Online Awards.

This time the award for Best IC Work for our October 2019 entries goes to NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire CCG, nominated by Michelle Smith.

The judges were particularly impressed with this entry because of the innovative approach taken to develop a new set of organisational values following a merger. A range of inclusive tactics were used to engage colleagues in the development of the values in conjunction with the leadership team. This was then followed through by operationalising the values as part of colleague one to ones and appraisals in the CCG.

The judging panel were also impressed by one of the other entries for the Best IC Work category from NHS Mid Essex CCG, nominated by Paul Gilham. This colleague wellbeing campaign had clear links to the external objectives of the organisation, used an impressive range of engagement and communication tactics and had good impact with a reduction in sickness absence rates. The judging panel therefore gave a well-deserved commendation for this entry.

You can see more details of these entries and those of our previous awards winners and commendations on the past winners and case studies page of the website.

There was no winner of the Best IC Person or Team category this time.
